Harold was born in Thalberg, MB and he attended school in Beaconia. He loved the outdoors and was an avid trapper, hunter and fisherman. Harold loved music and became an excellent fiddle and guitar player, who was always in demand to play at all the dances and parties. From the age of 14, Harold wanted to be a painter. He worked for Bristol Aerospace, CAE and various construction companies. In 1974 he started his own company, Cros-Man Enterprises, which he ran for 29 years until the time of his passing. The most important thing in Harolds life was his family. He was always the rock that everyone could depend on. Whenever there was a crisis or a family event, Harold was always there to organize, lend a hand or give good advice. A service in Harolds memory will be held on Tuesday, July 8 at 10:30 am. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St. Selkirk, MB, with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Interment will be held at the Gull Lake Cemetery, following the luncheon. Thank you to all the doctors and staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital for the tremendous care and compassion that they showed to Harold. Thank you as well to all the people that came to visit Harold in the hospital. He loved each and every visit. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Harolds memory to CancerCare Manitoba, Rm. 1160-675 McDermot, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. If These Walls Could Talk They would speak of a man who has worked with great heart To accomplish his plan. Theyd speak of the times that hes prayed in the night For the strength to go on And to do what is right. They would speak of sweet moments of laughter and fun, the times with his children, His love for each one. Oh, if they could talk, It would just be the start of a story of love, A great man, and his heart. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangments.
