RAYMOND ROZIERE Suddenly on June 29, 2003, Raymond Roziere died at the home that he built and loved. He leaves behind family, friends and neighbours who will miss his eccentric ways and his love of life. His devoted wife Kaye; his children, Brian and friend Giselle, Michele, Kim (Ray), Cathy (Doug) as well as grandchildren, Paul, Zoey and Sherri; and extended family in St. Boniface, Winnipeg, ON, BC and England will grieve the loss of this unique man. Born in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, MB, Ray spent his professional life with Roziere Construction; a company founded by his father and shared with his brother Ben. After retiring at age 60, he transitioned seamlessly into retirement by dominating the kitchen and the garden, feeding the grey squirrels his prune pits everyday, golfing with friend Ernie Tooth, and creating an endless variety of inventive objects from recycled scrap, specializing in hassocks. Energetic and curious to the end, Ray would be very annoyed with himself to be missing another beautiful Winnipeg summer. No official ceremony will be held. His beloved blue spruce trees will keep his memory alive. Donations in his name to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 will serve to honour his life and death. The Desjardins Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements 233-4949; toll free 1-888-233-4949.
