STANLEY RAYMOND CHAPLEY June 3, 1933 - July 4, 2003 It is with great and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our father on July 4, 2003 at the age of 70 years. Stan leaves to mourn his loss, his two sons, Warren (Cindy) and Darren, and his only granddaughter Nicole, all of whom he loved dearly. Stan was predeceased by his loving wife Irene; and parents, Stan and Mildred Chapley. Stan was born in Winnipeg on June 3, 1933 where he resided all his life. Stan worked for the Department of Transport until his retirement in 1990. With his passing, he leaves us a legacy: that we accept no limit in our capacity to give of ourselves. If we can do this, with both hands open as Stan did, his life will have taught us well. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 06-200 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
