Offer Condolences or MemoryCLARA "ANN" SHERIDAN (nee HOWLETT) Ann Sheridan, long-time resident of Winnipeg passed away on Saturday June 28, 2003 with her son and sister by her side. Ann was born on October 31, 1928 in Lang, SK to Percy and Clara. Ann was surrounded by her family at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina during the last week of her struggle with cancer. Ann was devoted to her family and is survived by her son David and his wife Tracy; granddaughter Delaney; sister Betty; brother Joe; brother Bob and his wife Mabel. Ann was predeceased by her husband Rick, and brother Tom. Ann worked for the CPR in early years where she met Rick. Later she enjoyed applying her sewing expertise by working in wardrobe for the CBC television program Hymn Sing. Ann was an avid curler and acted as President for the second time to the Fort Rouge Ladies Curling Club for the 2002-2003 season. Her other passions included skiing, golfing, angling, her granddaughter, her dog Abigail and her many, many close friends. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Jacquie Fontaine, will be held at the Springs Church, 595 Lagimodiere Blvd, Winnipeg, MB on Tuesday July 15 at 2:00 p.m. Special thanks to Dr. Clein and the compassionate staff in the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital for the incomparable care that Ann received. The unit was especially comfortable due to furnishings and other comforts funded by private donations.
