MAGDALENA BEDNAREK Madge passed away peacefully at Park Manor on July 3, 2003, with her daughter Elinor at her side. Her 99 years were lived to the fullest. Her entire life was dedicated to her family. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley, son Ben, grandson Tim and daughter-in-law Lori. She is survived by her children, Mary (Gord), Anna (Bill), Elinor (Ron), Midge (Frank), and Bill; 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Madge was born January 17, 1904 in Russia. She immigrated to Canada with her husband Stanley and two young children in 1927. They resided in Steep Rock, MB and upon Stanleys retirement, moved to Dugald, MB. Madge always maintained a huge garden (without weeds) and spent her days cooking, preserving and making great feather pillows. Her kitchen was always open, with lots of food. Madge loved and was loved. She was the queen of our family and will be missed. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10 in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. The family would like to thank the staff of Park Manor for the wonderful care they provided to Madge over the past 13 years.
