LORNE ELLIOT TOPLEY On Friday, July 4, 2003 at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, Lorne Topley, aged 80 years. Lorne was born March 6, 1922, in Morden, MB. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in April 1941 and served in England, Sicily and Italy. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Snowflake, Morden, Selkirk and Atikoken. He will be missed by his two sons, Don (Jacqueline), Phil (Marilyn) and daughter Maxine; brother Ross (Dorothy) and his grandchildren, Jarret, Ali, Allysha, Robyn and Kristie. He was predeceased by his brother Glen and sister Vivian. Funeral service was held from the St. Thomas Anglican Church on Monday, July 7, at 2:00 p.m., with Ed Maddock officiating. Interment took place in the Hillside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Thomas Anglican Church, 131 8th St., Morden, MB R6M 1E3. Many thanks to the doctors and staff of the Victoria General Hospital for their care and kindness.
