CHRISTOPHER LAMBERT Peacefully, on July 3, 2003 at the Maples Personal Care Home, Christopher passed away at the age of 96 years with his family by his side. Christopher was born in St. Laurent on August 17, 1906 to Arcade and Katherine Lambert. Predeceased by his wife Amanda of 71 years on March 7, 1999, also his parents, three sisters and four brothers, sons-in-law, Mike Trafiak and Larry Arnfinson, daughter-in-law Connie Lambert; one granddaughter; one grandson and two great-grandsons. Surviving are his children, Edna Trafiak, Dora and John Houlden, Rita and Ron Scott, Yvette and Bill Smith, Louise and Raymond Klyne, Hector Lambert, Flora and Nelson Klyne, Shirley Lambert, Marcel and Rosalie Lambert, Mildred and Bob MacLeod, Freida and Gordon Hunt, Phyllis Arnfinson. There are 53 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren, also sisters-in-law, Berthe and Edmee Lambert. A special thank-you to the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home (2 East) and to those who expressed their condolences. The prayer vigil will be held on Monday, July 7 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Peters Church, 748 Keewatin. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 8 at 11:00 a.m. also in the church. Viewing will take place one half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Hwy #1 East at Navin Rd. Pallbearers will be his seven sons-in-law and his grandson Douglas Trafiak. Honourary pallbearers are his other 21 grandsons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christophers memory to a charity of choice.
