WILLIE JOEL (nee WILHAMINA KYNOCH) On July 3, 2003 at the Middlechurch Home, Wilhamina went to be with her Lord. Willie was born in 1918 to her parents, James and Wilhamina Kynoch in the R.M. of Argyle and spent her childhood in Glenora, MB. Mom then moved to Winnipeg and later married Sig Joel. Mom is survived by her loving daughters, Bonnie Joel, Arlene and her husband Jack Balderstone of West St. Paul and her much loved grandson Jason Reid, brother Andy of McCreary, brother Gordon of Glenora, sister-in-law Doris of Glenora and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her parents, husband Sig, brothers Jim, Bill, Albert and sister Eva. Mom taught kindergarten at Bordair Community Club and worked at Adcom Research. She loved her bingo at the Royal Canadian Legion and Bordair Community Club. Mom loved to crochet the most beautiful afghans, lunching and shopping with Arlene and best of all, Chinese food with Arlene, Jack and Jason. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Pauls Anglican Church, Balderstone Avenue in West St. Paul with Rev. Fraser Hunter officiating. Cremation has taken place and interment services will take place at a later date in the Argyle Cemetery beside her parents in Baldur, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. "Fly high Mom, you will be in our hearts forever. We will see your face in everything that is beautiful." Many thanks to Dr. Les Ullyott and the staff and all Moms friends at the Middlechurch Home.
