Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryURBANO TEIXEIRA It is with deep sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of their father and grandfather Urbano Teixeira on Thursday, July 3, 2003. He was predeceased by his wife Maria de Lurdes and his father Manuel Teixeira and mother Maria (nee Correia). Urbano was born on August 8, 1932 in San Miguel Azores Portugal. He immigrated to Winnipeg in his early 20s. Here he met his wife Maria and together raised their family. Urbano enjoyed working in the garden and taking care of his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his three children, Aida (Sejdi) Isaku, Urbano Jr. (Julie) Teixeira and Lurdes (Norbert) Boulet; grandchildren, Bajram, Adem, Melanie Isaku, Isabella, Thomas Teixeira and Broc Boulet; three sisters; several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, July 8 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 9 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
