PAULINE LINDLEY (MONASTERSKI) On Saturday, July 5, 2003 at Goodwin Lodge, Teulon, aged 83, Pollie passed away peacefully in her sleep. Born in Zburch area, near Komarno, on August 31, 1919. Married Bob Lindley in 1936. They resided on the farm in the Balmoral area raising a family. She worked on the farm and drove school bus. During this time, large family gatherings often took place on the farm. Baseball was enjoyed by all. Pollie played on a girls baseball team in the area until 1967. Later in life, she would socialize Saturday night at Stonewall Legion dancing until the last waltz. Monday night bowling, Tuesday afternoon bowling and the rest of her nights playing bingo with friends. Survived by her daughters, Irene Hamaberg, Elaine Glowachuk (Walter) and son Leonard (Josie) nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Betty, Jean, Stella and Helen Monasterski. Predeceased by husband Bob; son-in-law Robert Hamaberg; sisters, Nettie, Mary, Stella, Ann and Doris; brothers, William, Jim, Nick, Peter, Steve and Fred. Active pallbearers are Walter Glowachuk, Allan Hamaberg, Kevin Glowachuk, Barbara Larson, Robert and Cathie Lindley. All friends will be considered as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victoria Cemetery, Goodwin Lodge or to a charity of ones choice. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 9 at 3:00 p.m. in MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, MB. Interment will take place at Victoria Cemetery, Balmoral. The family appreciates all care givers at Goodwin Lodge, Red River Personal Care, Teulon Hospital and regular visitors. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
