JANE B. PATERSON Jane B. Paterson, beloved wife of Donald S. Paterson passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2003. She is survived by Donald, her loving husband of 56 years; their five children, Norman, Charles, Ellen, John and Andrew; and their 9 grandchildren. Born in County Galway, Ireland, Jane pursued a successful modelling career in London, England before marrying Donald and then moving to Canada. In addition to raising five children, she became one of the first female multi-engine pilots in Manitoba. She was a supporter of many charities and was recognized for her contributions over the years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A private family service will be held at Thomson Funeral Chapels. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial reception to be held at the Manitoba Club at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Alzheimers Society, 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
