ROBERT PIRT On July 4, 2003 Robert Pirt passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. He is survived by his wife Hilda, sons, Jeff and Drew; sister-in-law Florence Albi; brothers, Bruce and Richard of British Columbia; brother-in-law George (Alma) Sante. Also many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends and neighbours. He was predeceased by his brother Don and sister Pat. Robert enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy in 1940, and he served for the duration of the war. After the war Robert was employed with the Winnipeg Fire Department from 1946 to 1985, the year he retired. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fire Department Burn Fund, or a charity of ones choice. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
