PAVEL (PAUL) HAJDINJAK 1931 - 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father. From a camp in Italy, called Aversa, on a ship named the SS Irpina, Paul brought his young family to Canada in 1960. Survived by his children, Nada and Ivan Bogut, Vera and Michael Moss, Valentino, Bozena; and grandsons, Sage and Dustin; nephew Ivan and Dusanka and their son Renato Perkovic; and numerous family in Croatia. Paul worked hard as a bricklayer most of his life. In the early 70s he was the president of the Croatia Soccer Club. He enjoyed playing Bocci Ball and Cards. There are also many good memories camping at Willow Island and St. Malo with our caravan of friends, family and kumovi. Paul was predeceased by his wife Janja; and his parents, Valentin and Magdalena in Medimurje, Croatia. Many thanks to all his health care providers. Prayers will be held on Sunday, July 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 14 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Nicolas Tavelich Roman Catholic Church, 2688 Main St., with Rev. Fr. Gary Killen officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. REST IN PEACE CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
