Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET MARY DUCK Peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2003, at the Health Sciences Centre, Violet Mary Duck of Bloodvein, MB, passed away at the age of 65 years. Violet was born in Bloodvein and had resided there her entire life. Her family and grandchildren were her pride and joy and always enjoyed them coming over to visit her. She was a CFS worker for Bloodvein First Nation and was a foster parent. She enjoyed square dancing and loved to attend church services and tent meetings. She was a good Christian lady. On many occasions she would sit down with her family and tell them stories from the past. Violet was reunited at a family reunion with her real daughter Deborah who she hadnt seen in 25 years. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her five sons, Stanford (Glenda) and family, Wilfred (Eleanor) and family, Stephen and family, Keith and family, Larry (Phyllis) and family; daughters, Arlene and family, Christina (Ivan) and family, Mary Jane (Jim) and family, Heather and family, Rose Mary and family, Deborah and her daughter; one brother William George Green and family; one sister Alma (Cecil) and family; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends. Violet was predeceased by her loving husband Henry; children, Elwin, Larry, Deborah; one grandson Brent Alexander. Prayers will be held on Friday, July 11 at 8:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr. Wake services will be held on Saturday, July 12, Sunday, July 13 and Monday, July 14 at the Bloodvein Band Hall, Bloodvein. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Alfred Cook Memorial Mennonite Church, interment to follow Bloodvein Cemetery. ABORIGINAL FUNERAL CHAPEL 724 SELKIRK AVE. 586-7700
