JOHN RUSSEL ROSS It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John Russel Ross on Tuesday, July 8, 2003, after a brief illness. John passed away peacefully with his family by his side at 84 years of age. John was predeceased by his wife Doris "Torrie"; his mother Anna; and father James. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Marilyn Flaumitsch (Gordon) his sisters, Kay Ellis and Thelma McIlmoyl (Ted) his grandchildren, Colleen Munro (Alex), Ross McMordie (Helen), James McMordie (Barb), Mark McMordie (Diane) and his great-grandchildren, Christy, Bryan, Robin, Joshua, Cody, Martina, Nicholas, Dillon, Alexis, Megan, Jared, and Kaylee. He held the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the navy; his lifelong career being a pharmacist for the T. Eaton Co. John was blessed with a great sense of humour which he shared with all. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Boniface Hospital - wards 5E, 5A, and Palliative Care. Special thanks for the love and support given by the Parada family. A private family service will be held.
