Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL RAYMOND DOUGLAS CROWDER (FOX) March 1, 1982 - July 12, 2003 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic death of our son and brother. Ray was predeceased by his Grandma and Grandpa Baxter and his infant nephew Kris. He leaves to mourn and will be sadly missed by his mother Judy Crowder; his sisters, Elaine (Gary), Jo-Anne (Doug), Sharla (Derek) by his brothers, Lyle (Maureen) and John (Yuri) brother-in-law Brian and their children, grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa Crowder and his father Larry Crowder. He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ray came into my life as a very little baby only weighing five pounds one ounce at five weeks old. I adored him and adopted him as soon as I was able. I loved him so very much. Ray attended preschool at Tyndall Park Playschool and then went on to attend Lord Nelson School and Stanley Knowles School. He attended martial arts (Tae Kwon Do) with his same age nieces and nephews and did very well. For a time he took guitar lessons but practice was not his thing. He loved doing art work and often did cover pages in school for other children in his class. He loved music and his latest interest was the computer. He often laid with his big old black cat for hours while watching movies. Ray enjoyed his days spent with his brother-in-law Brian on his bread delivery route. Ray had recently become the father of a baby daughter whom he was very proud of. Ray will live on through Tanisha. Ray was in the process of getting his drivers license so he could work as a front end loader. He was making plans for his future, when his life was so senselessly ended. He had so much to live for. We would like to thank those who tried to help Ray before professional help arrived. We are very grateful to you. Ray thought so highly of you all. He had many friends and I could never begin to mention all by name. Many thanks for all the support from family and friends. Viewing will take place on Friday, July 18 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr. The service will be held on Saturday, July 19 at 9:30 a.m. also at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, Bishop Darell Pack officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St., followed by a luncheon at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Thomas and Derek Gerbrand. Pallbearers are Bradley Baxter, Jim Baxter, Cory Thomas, Shaun Thomas, Brian Granger and Bradley Granger. Lead me from death to life, From falsehood to truth. Lead me from despair to hope, From fear to trust. Lead me from hate to love, From war to peace. Let peace fill our heart, our world, Our universe. Let Rays death not be in vain. ABORIGINAL FUNERAL CHAPEL 724 Selkirk Avenue. 586-7700
