Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET CHRISTINA PARTRIDGE April 15, 1930 - July 15, 2003 Peacefully on July 15, 2003 at Selkirk General Hospital, Margaret passed away at the age of 73. Margaret was born and raised in East Selkirk. In her early years she taught Sunday School at the Lutheran church and was involved in 4H. She attended all her grandchildrens sporting games and was well known as "Ringette Grandma". She was a member of the Icelandic League in Selkirk, the Gordon Howard Senior Centre and many community clubs. She was predeceased by her father and mother Einar and Lucy Goodman; stepmother Sigridur; and brother Alvin Goodman. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 54 years, Edmund (Sandy), her daughter Barb and son Tom (Marilyn) grandchildren, Aprille (Norman) Beauchamp, Nadine Andrusko (Shawn), Naomi Andrusko, great-grandchildren, Tabitha, Sydney and Tyler; grandchildren, Blaine, Melissa and Brad Partridge. She lived for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also sisters, Blanche (niece Cathy) Schofield, Violet Swanson, Arlene (Bud) Feyereisen, Lucy (John) Martin, Helga (Victor) Magnusson; and stepbrother Roy (Bess) Thorarinson of British Columbia. A very special thank you to the staff at the Selkirk General Hospital and home care workers for their excellent care and kindness. Prayers will be said on Thursday (tonight) at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18 at 1:30 p.m., also in the chapel. Interment will follow in the Selkirk Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Paulson, Shawn Onske, Erik Petersen, Jack Partridge, Blaine Partridge and Brad Partridge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetic Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
