Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECIL EDWARD WISHART Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Cecil Wishart, aged 90, passed away at Grace Hospital on July 14, 2003. Cece is survived by Diana Ruth, his beloved wife of 61 years; his daughter Linda Dooley; son Ross and his wife Elaine; grandchildren, Christopher (Trish Sale) and Laura Dooley, and Lori (Vern) Wilson; and great-grandchildren, Jake and Shayla Wilson. He is also survived by his brother Harold and two nieces and brother-in-law Allan Lovelace. He was predeceased by his sister Marjorie Harper. Cece served in the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War, in Winnipeg and Ottawa. He retired from CN in 1973, after 44 years. Following his retirement, he and Ruth enjoyed 20 years in Victoria before returning to Winnipeg in 1993 to be closer to their family. The family would like to express their thanks to Trisha and Rebecca of 3 North, Grace Hospital, for their kindness during Ceces final days. Cremation has taken place, and in accordance with Ceces wishes, there will be no service. He will be laid to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. Cece was a gentle man with an occasionally wicked sense of humour.
