GABRIEL THOMAS BRUCE Gabriel Thomas Bruce died suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre with his family at his bedside on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at the age of 21 years. He was a son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. Gabriel was predeceased by his Aunt Shirley Anne Bruce; great-grandmother Virginia Boulanger; and half brother Frehley McKay. He is survived by his mother Phyllis Bruce; sister Jeannette; grandparents, Daniel and Annie Bruce; grandmother Florence Boulanger; niece Emma Missyabit; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Peacefully sleeping, resting at last, His weary trials and troubles are past; In silence he suffered, in patience he bore, Till God called him home to suffer no more. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, July 16 and Thursday, July 17 at 7:00 p.m., with wake to follow at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., at Parr, Winnipeg. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 18 at 11:00 a.m., also at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Bruce, Danny Bruce, Denny Missyabit, Scott Cooper, Dorian Boulanger, Anthony Bruce, Elliott Mason and David Shields.
