Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEUNICE CHUBACK (nee PRYCHAK) 1922 - 2003 On July 12, 2003, at the age of 80, Eunice passed away unexpectedly but peacefully with her family present while attending a family gathering in Victoria, BC. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Nicholas, who passed away in 1986; her parents Lou and Anna (nee Dworchak) and five of her brothers and sisters, Wasyl, Katie, Annie, Sophie and Steve. She is survived by her children, Willie (Alice), Joan (Brian), Merven (Nancy) and Tony (Donna) her grandchildren, Lawrence (Judy), Susan, Jason (Heidi), Douglas (Andrea), Kerry (Vic), Jackie (Colwyn), Corey, Harlynn, Nicholas and Jennifer; her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Sarah, Hudson and Justena; her brother and sisters, Mike (Mary), Margaret and Edna; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was born August 16, 1922, on a farm near Rama, SK, and spent her youth going to school and working on the farm. She married at the age of 17 and together with her husband farmed in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba. They moved permanently to Winnipeg in 1950 and subsequently owned and operated a restaurant. After many years of devotion to their family and business they were able to retire early and enjoy their winters in Florida. Their family was the most important facet of their lives, they took great joy in assisting their children so that they could lead successful lives. Prayers will be said on Friday, July 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, with funeral services on Saturday July 19 at 1:00 p.m., also at Thomson Funeral Chapels. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, a donation may be made to a charity of their choice.
