Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY DAWYDIUK It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Henry on July 15, 2003 at the Extendicare Oakview Place at the age of 82 years. He leaves to mourn his brothers, Joe and Matt; and sisters, Julia and Frances. He was predeceased by his wife Bernice; brothers, Sam and Steve; and sisters, Anne, Kay Rose, Patsy, and Irene. Henry was born on September 30, 1920 near Haywood, MB. He farmed until he moved to Winnipeg in the early 60s. He was married to Bernice (Tobak) for over 50 years. He worked for the Continental Can Company as a pressman until he retired in 1979. He enjoyed playing pool and darts and socializing with Legion members. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing and gardening in his younger days. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19 at 10:00 a.m at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Oakview Place, and special thanks to good friends and neighbours, Joyce Pierce and Wilf Wowchuk, for their kindness and assistance to Henry during the past years.
