Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUSTINA FEHR July 17, 1910 - July 16, 2003 Peacefully, just one day before her 93rd birthday, Justina of Calvary Place passed into the presence of her Lord. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Mary OLeary, Anne Penner (Henry) eight grandchildren, Reg, Brian, Lorraine, Paul, Valerie, Dawn, Dan and Tami; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Justina was predeceased by her beloved husband Cornelius in 1982; daughter Marg in 1977; and sadly by two infant sons, John Steve in 1937 and Melvin Fraser in 1942. She was a quiet, simple woman who loved reading, gardening, and spending time in prayer. Her greatest joy however, was her family. She loved birthdays and holidays when we were all together. She spent the last few years of her life in the Calvary Place Nursing Home, where she came to love and be loved by her care givers. Her health prevented her from taking part in most activities, so she became their PRAYER WARRIOR. That was her job and she took it very seriously. If anyone talked to her about a special need they knew that she would immediately take that need to God. By doing this for a lifetime she has endeared herself to many and has left a legacy to all. Justinas funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21 at 11:00 a.m. in the Buntain Chapel, Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Paul and Brian OLeary; and great-grandsons, Adam and Nicholas Karsin, Jeff Maliborski and Adrian Markiw. Our family would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the staff of Calvary Place who made Justina feel so welcome when she first came to them, and took care of all her needs. A heartfelt special thank you to the nursing staff on the third floor who went out of their way to provide comfort and such loving care during the difficult time of the last two weeks. Also, to Pastor Henry Schulz, you were a constant source of strength and comfort to Justina and to us. We will keep you all in our hearts. "Peace I leave with you: my peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth, give I unto you: Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14-27. "Rest in peace Mom."
