SUE WALL (nee GOERTZEN) Peacefully on July 14, 2003, Sue Wall, aged 83, passed away after a brief stay at the Riverview Health Centre. She is survived by her granddaughter Susan Wall and great-granddaughter Breanne. She also leaves to mourn her brothers, Jake and wife Katie, Henry and wife Eileen, John and wife Stella; her sisters, Agatha, Mary and husband George. She was predeceased by her husband Dave in 1973 and their son Reginald in 1994 and sister Betty in 2002. Sue was born at home in Burwalde, MB on January 19, 1920. The family moved to Winkler when she was a child. Sue married Dave Wall on February 2, 1940 and gave birth to their son Reginald on March 26, 1941. She resided in Winnipeg for the rest of her life other than 10 years when they lived in St. Catherines, ON. At Sues request cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, July 18 at 3:00 p.m. at Westminster United Church located at NW Maryland Street at Westminster Avenue, Winnipeg, with Rose Ferries officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Winkler Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Mennonite Central Committee or the Canadian Cancer Society.
