FRANK DOE July 14, 1939 - July 17, 2003 Frank Doe passed away peacefully from a brief illness from cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Lorraine and Alex; brother Eddie; brothers-in-law, Russell Sabine and Al Fraess. Frank is survived by his wife Elvira of 13 years; sons, Rick (Barb), Jim (Nancy), Jeff (Karen) grandchildren, Amy, Mark, Jordan and Jeremy; brothers, Ray (Linda), Lloyd (Marie) sisters, Phyllis, Florence, Polly and Orlena; sister-in-law Delisle; and numerous nieces and nephews. He worked for Canadian Tire for 25 years. He moved his family to Houston, TX in 1983, where he worked for Whites until 1986 when they moved back to Winnipeg. He opened up Midwest Tire, which he ran for four years before working at Pollard Banknote for six years. Frank enjoyed playing cards, attending Blue Bombers and Goldeyes games, golfing, wood working, cycling and spending time with his grandsons. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7.
