RICHARD ALFRED ROSSNAGEL Alfred was born to Gustav and Barbara Rossnagel on February 7, 1925 at the farm in Waldersee, MB and passed away peacefully on July 16, 2003 at the Neepawa Hospital. Alfred married Olga Santo on July 15, 1948. They lived on SE21-17-12, north of Plumas where they resided and farmed until the present time. Alfred was an avid farmer all his life and took great pride in his cattle, crops, horses, and farmyard. He always treated his animals the way he wanted to be treated. His grandchildren were also a great source of pride and joy and he delighted in spending any time that he could with them. He especially enjoyed going on crop tours, checking the cows, and going to auction sales with Aaron. Alfred also loved going to town for coffee with his friends and driving to various places for repairs and supplies. Alfred is survived by his wife Olga (Santo) son Lorne (Deborah), their children, Alyssa, Andrea, and Aaron; daughter Jeanine (Randy Court), their children, Gary and Tracy; son Neil (Judy) one sister Isabelle (Jack Gordon) brother-in-law Jul Santo; sister-in-law Kathleen (Lloyd Cole). Alfred was predeceased by one son Mickey and an infant daughter; his parents, Gustav and Barbara (Schlamb) Rossnagel; his brothers, Art (Hilda), Charlie (Lillian), Gus (Elmira) his sisters, Ida (Jake Walker), Annie (Fred Single), Barbara (Adolf Tonn), Erna (Joe Fischer). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the Plumas United Church, with Jeri Bjornson officiating. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8 or to the charity of ones choice.
