Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJESSIE BARON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Jessie Baron on July 16, 2003 at St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Tom in 1985, and by her two sisters, and three brothers. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Ted, daughter-in-law Carole Ann, and granddaughter Jennifer and her husband Rob Montemarano. Jessie was born on August 16, 1918. She received her education in Winnipeg and was employed for a number of years in the offices of Perths Cleaners. She and Tom subsequently moved to Portage La Prairie where they lived for 16 years and were involved with Richlu Manufacturing. Upon retirement Jessie and Tom moved back to Winnipeg. Jessie enjoyed her years of travel and companionship with her friends and family. She was always ready to pack a bag and be on her way. The last three years, she lived at the Portsmouth Retirement Residence where her lively and outgoing personality made her many new friends. Our family would like to express sincere appreciation to the staff of 6A South, St. Boniface Hospital and Dr. Murray Cameron for all of their kindness and care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 21. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg R3L 2T4.
