WALTER HAGEMANN On Thursday, July 17, 2003 at the Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon, Walter Hagemann, aged 66 years, beloved husband of Regine Hagemann of Teulon, and formerly of Narcisse, MB. Surviving to mourn his loss besides his loving wife Regine; two daughters, Evelyn (Don) Smith and Marita (Bruce) Lamont; two grandchildren, Michael, Sheri (Kevin) sister-in-law Martha (Joe) Jarosiewicz and family; four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews from Germany. He was predeceased by his parents. Walter was born December 7, 1936 in Swinemude, Germany. When Walter came to Canada in 1957 he knew no one and could not speak English. During that time he worked at various jobs including construction on the TransCanada Highway, carpenter, orderly at the Hospital, the City of Winnipeg and foreman at Versatille. In 1964 he bought a dairy farm at Narcisse and farmed until 1987 when he semi-retired. During his spare time Walter enjoyed boating, hunting and airplanes. He was always available to help out the neighbours. His latest passion was mastering the computer. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Inwood Lutheran Church. Interment will take place at Willowview Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital Foundation in his memory.
