Her memory will be everlasting in the hearts of her beloved husband Ralph, sister Anne (Henry), and children, Joan (Agustin), Robert (Marie), Marni (Dave) and Kim (John). Also left to cherish her memory are ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Kay was born in Russia and moved to Altona, MB in 1929. It was in Winnipeg that she met her Romeo and they began their lifelong journey together. Mom enjoyed her arts and crafts and the friendships of those who shared her passion. She loved to have her family and friends around her, be it playing games, enjoying dinners or working in her garden. A mass to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, July 23 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church, 135 John Forsyth Rd. Following a reception in the parish hall, interment will take place at the Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. The family wish to extend their deepest thanks and appreciation to the Emergency Room staff of the Victoria General Hospital for the care and compassion they showed Mom and her family on this day. Flowers gratefully declined.
