Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATIE LOEWEN 1920 - 2003 On July 18, 2003 Katie Loewen went to be with the Lord. She served him faithfully all her life. Katie was born September 23, 1920, to Jacob and Anna Loewen in Russia. Fellowship with Gods children was very important to her. She showed her love for Jesus by serving others through visits, words of encouragement and most importantly through prayer. She had a big heart for missions. She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters in infancy, her brother-in-law Peter Enns, two nephews, Wilfred Enns and Jesse Klassen. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers and sisters, Susie and Abe Wiens, Anne and Ben Klassen, Jake and Helen Loewen, Peter and Eva Loewen, John and Helen Loewen, Abe and Marie Loewen and may nephews and nieces and friends who will miss her very much. Many thanks to the staff of Donwood Personal Care Home for their loving care over the last few years, Also the staff at Concordia Hospital Emergency during her last hours. Viewing will take place on Monday, July 21 at Klassen Funeral Chapel and prior to the service. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m. in McIvor Mennonite Brethren Church, with interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens following the service.
