JOHN MICHEAL KIBSEY It is with great sadness that we announce the accidental passing of John Kibsey on Friday, July 18, 2003 at the age of 26 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Joe and Nellie; siblings, Roberta (Roland) Fillion, Lawrence (Nicole) Kibsey, Stephen, Mary-Ann (Bill Huminicki) and Betty-Ann (Warren Kelner) nephews, Eric and Cameron; nieces, Megan and Allison; many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Mary and John Boitson and Ann and Steve Marchuk; and nephew Kelly Fillion. John was born on May 18, 1977 in Teulon, MB. He worked for Dola Brothers Trucking for the past five years, where he made many lasting friendships. John enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycles, working on cars and could often be found swimming in the neighbours pool. He had a zest for life, carefree nature and a love for partying. John was always there to lend a hand to family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 24 at 11:30 a.m. in the Our Lady of the Lake Church, Winnipeg Beach, with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service time. Interment to follow in the Pleasant Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The War Amps, 1 Maybrook Dr., Scarborough, ON M1V 5K9. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
