HAZELLE BAKER (nee HUTCHISON) Peacefully, on Sunday morning, July 20, 2003, after a long illness, Hazelle Baker passed away at the age of 76 years. Hazelle will be lovingly remembered by James, her husband of 54 years, son John Baker and his wife Dawn (Sara, Owen, Caitlin), daughter Linda and her husband Andrew McKenzie (Michael, Jody, Shawna) and daughter Kathi and her husband William Sharpe (Jacqueline, Ryan). Hazelle is also survived by her sister Shirley Riecken of Victoria, BC. If friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff at Vista Park Lodge and especially to Teresa who made Hazelle feel so welcome there and who went out of her way to provide comfort and loving care for Hazelle in the difficult last period of her life and also for the compassion shown to the rest of her family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Grant Memorial Baptist Church, 877 Wilkes Ave., Winnipeg with Pastor Ken Harris officiating.
