OTTO WILHELM FITZ Suddenly, on July 21, 2003, Otto Fitz passed away at the age of 86 years. Otto was predeceased by his parents Martin and Christine Fitz (nee Derwanz) one brother Beno and his beloved niece Pauline Redlick, who lived with him for many years. Otto is survived by two sisters, Hedwig Redlick and Edith (Harry) Salisbury; two nephews, Bill (Cheryl) Redlick and John (Margaret) Redlick; niece Christina Rawluk; grandnieces, Christy Rawluk and Ainsley Redlick and grandnephew Fraser Redlick and many other relatives in Germany and Canada. In recent years, Otto has been very active in the Rock of Ages Lapidary Club, of which he was an honorary lifetime member. He always encouraged others and enjoyed teaching them this wonderful art. Otto will be greatly missed, especially for his kindness, thoughtfulness, and love. We will remember and love you forever. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with Pastor Chell officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ottos memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
