MARY ANN KEEPER (nee OWEN) Peacefully on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Mary Ann Keeper passed away at the age of 89 years. Mary Ann was born on February 23, 1914. Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband Gordon Moar in 1973; by her two sons, Xavier and Gordon; also by her grandchildren, Randy and Vincent. Mary Ann leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, sons, Ambrose (Elizabeth), Louis (Sarah) daughters, Jeanette and Bella; and one sister Antoinette Leveque. There are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, July 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, Winnipeg. Wake services will be held on Thursday, July 24, Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26 at the Little Grand Rapids School Gymnasium. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 27 at 11:00 a.m., also in Little Grand Rapids School Gymnasium with Pastor Albert Eaglestick officiating. Interment to follow at the Little Grand Rapids Cemetery. Thanks also to the doctors and nurses at the St. Boniface Hospital and to the staff at the George Guimond Personal Care Home for their care and compassion for the many years that she resided there.
