MARJORIE DOREEN MOFFATT (nee RAINCOCK) Peacefully on July 20, 2003, Marj passed away at the Grace Hospital. Marj was born in 1916 in Lakeland, MB, the youngest of 10 children. She married George in 1943 and they shared 53 wonderful years together traveling, entertaining, playing cards, bowling, and enjoying life to the fullest. In 1996 Marj moved to the Westhaven where she was well looked after and made many new friends. Marj was predeceased by her husband George in 1996; and is survived by her sister Sybil (Allan) Magnusson of Richmond, BC; sisters-in-law, Edna and Gertrude; numerous nieces and nephews as well as a multitude of very special friends. Cremation has already taken place. Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7, or to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
