Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryISABEL SNEESBY Peacefully, on July 22, 2003, Isabel passed away at the the Salvation Army Grace General Hospital. Isabel was predeceased by her beloved husband Walter and siblings Bob, Johnny, Bill, Alfred and Kay. Isabel was born May 19, 1908 in Whytewold, MB., where she received her schooling, working during the summer months and played the organ in the church her father helped to build. In 1931, she moved to Winnipeg to work at the news stand in the Marlborough Hotel where she met the Love of her Life, Walter, who worked there as a porter. They were married one year later and had 69 wonderful, loving years together. Most of all, Isabel enjoyed visiting with family, doing crafts with Walter and watching her great-grandchildren sing and play sports. She took great pride in their accomplishments and enjoyed the time spent visiting with them. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Joan and husband Harold, who was like a son to Isabel and Walter. Also, grandson Ralph and wife Dale, with great-grandchildren, Brenna, Tanner and Hilary. Isabel also leaves her loving sister, Helen Mulligan who she cherished deeply. Also, Isabel leaves brothers and sisters-in-law, Kay Jardine, Thelma and Roy Fraser, Joan and Cecil Sneesby and Alice Sneesby. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, whose visits she enjoyed with all her heart. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of 3 West and Major Cath McFarlane of the Salvation Army Grace General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Isabels memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26 at 10:00 a.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Major Cath McFarlane officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
