SIDNEY GARNET FOSKETT Born on October 19, 1914 in Winnipeg and lived here all his life. He is survived by his wife Josephine Foskett; brother Stan Foskett of Surrey BC; his son Bob Foskett (Donna) daughter Sydney Duncan (Jim) stepson Frank Grant (Corrinn) stepdaughter Jill Keller; grandchildren, Bryan and Kim Foskett; Susan Delaney (Doug) great-grandsons, Nicholas and Chad; stepgrandsons, Frances Grant Stephen Grant. Educated in Winnipeg, Sid served in the Armed Forces during the Second World War. He worked as a machinist in several companies, but his last place of employment was with the city of Winnipeg. Some of Sids favourite times were spent with his family. He also enjoyed the outdoors and his garden. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. God speed, Sid. Our thanks to the staff at the Grace Hospital who were so caring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
