Margaret was born in Haywood, MB on March 10, 1920. The family moved from there to Thalberg and then to St. Georges and Powerview, MB, where she spent most of her life. Mom excelled at many things, such as gardening, sewing, cooking and also enjoyed a good game of rummy. Her spicy sense of humour and warm smile endeared her to many, especially "her girls".
