KRISTINA HOAS Kristina Hoas, beloved wife of John, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2003 at the age of 90. She is survived by her two sons, Alfred (Evelyn) and Emil (Katie) and son-in-law Ruben Johnson. She also leaves to mourn nine grandchildren, Sharon (Ken) Sovak, Verner (Jennifer) Johnson, Larry Johnson, Michael (Michelle) Hoas, Jason Hoas, Debbie Hoas (Merv), Karen (Cory) Sinclair, Bryan Hoas (Corine), Julie Hoas, and five great-grandchildren, Brittany Sovak, Amy, Sarah, Anders, and Holly Johnson. She was predeceased by daughter Martha Johnson in August 2002, her sister, two brothers and parents. Prayers and viewing will be held at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. (entrance on Aubrey Street) on Monday, July 28 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 600 Cambridge St. Donations may be made to The Canadian Blood Services, 777 William Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 3R4, St. Marks Lutheran Church, 600 Cambridge St., Winnipeg, MB R3M 3G9 or to the Grace General Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7.
