GERALD TETREAULT 16 octobre 1950 - 25 juillet 2003 Apres avoir lutte courageusement et avec force de caractere, Gerald est decedee paisiblement entoure de sa famille. Il laisse dans le deuil sa femme Suzanne (nee Chatel), ses enfants Corinne, Brigitte et Michel, ses parents Lucien et Rose, ses freres Robert (Claire), Richard, ses nieces et neveu Danielle, Anita, Leanne, Marc, Monique, sa belle-mere Lucille Chatel et tous ses beaux-freres, belles-soeurs, nieces et neveux. Gerry executait avec fierte et professionalisme son metier de douanier et il manquera beaucoup a ses collegues a laeroport international de Winnipeg. Doue dun caractere aimable et avenant, Gerald a su toucher de nombreux liens damitie forts. Il sinteressait au bien-etre et au bonheur de ses copains. On se souviendra tous de son talent inne de musicien, surtout lors des rassemblements familiaux autour du feu de camp. Cetait sa passion, et sa musique resonnera pour toujours dans nos coeurs. Nos plus beaux souvenirs seront de nos excursions de camping, de peche, de chasse; des activitees qui lui donnaient tant de plaisir. La messe des funerailles aura lieu a leglise catholique dIle-des-Chenes le lundi 28 juillet a 14h00 presidee par labbe Marcel Carriere. Linhumation aura lieu dans le cimetiere paroissial immediatement apres les funerailles. Au lieu de fleurs, la famille souhaite que les dons soient faits a CancerCare Manitoba, 109 - 675 avenue McDermot, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. GERALD TETREAULT October 16, 1950 - July 25, 2003 Peacefully with his family at his side, Gerald Tetreault passed away at the age of 52, after a courageous eight month long battle with cancer. Geralds memory will be cherished by his wife Suzanne (nee Chatel) children, Corinne, Brigitte and Michel; parents, Lucien and Rose; brothers, Robert (Claire), Richard; nieces and nephew, Danielle, Anita, Leanne, Marc, Monique; mother-in-law Lucille Chatel; and all his brothers and sisters-in-law as well as nieces and nephews. Gerry was proud to be a customs officer and will be remembered by his co-workers at the Winnipeg International Airport. Gerald touched many lives with his outgoing and friendly personality which could be measured by his numerous friends. He had a great love for music and enjoyed playing guitar around camp fires and at family gatherings. His music will continue to play in our hearts forever. We will always remember the many wonderful times that we shared with him camping, fishing and hunting. Funeral mass will be celebrated in Ile-des-Chenes Roman Catholic Church on Monday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m., with Fr. Marcel Carriere officiating. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
