Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY FREDERICK DOOLEY (June 25, 1919 - July 24, 2003) It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Harry on July 24, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 84 years. He is survived by sons, Barry and Robin (Anna) daughter Marylin; son-in-law Donald Glowa; grandchildren, Angie, Georgeson (Todd), Curtis, Leah, Jordan, Jessica and Travis; sisters, Jane Bauman (Carl) and Yvonne Huntley; brother Rodney; sister-in-law Gladys; brother-in-law Barney Loewen and many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. He was predeceased by his wife Freda, daughter Heather Glowa, parents, Aught and Ann; sister Evelyn (Sid) Loewen; brother Robert; brothers-in-law, Melbourne Huntley and Roy Asham; sisters-in-law, Ruth Dooley, Grace Bruce, Ruth Asham and Nora Jarvie. He grew up in southern Saskatchewan and the States. After school he was an apprentice for optometry then during the First World War joined the Air Force during which time he met and married Freda Asham. He retired from the Air Force in 1969. He then worked for the St. James School Board as a Custodian until he retired in 1983. Harry spent the remaining years in leisure, watching sports and enjoying his grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 2 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Bedes Anglican Church in Kinosota, MB with Rev. Anne Crossland officiating. Interment to follow at Kinosota Cemetery. Many thanks to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Society in his memory.
