RONALD PATRICK TURNER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Patrick Turner on July 21, 2003 of natural causes at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Ron was born in Calgary, AB on September 5, 1959. He lived in several places before settling in Winnipeg, MB in 1990. He worked at the Club House since its conception. He also volunteered for the Habitat Re-Store. Even though Ron suffered with Schizophrenia, he was able to function on a day to day basis, thereby giving hope to other sufferers. He also held out hope that someday there would be a cure. Ron was pre-deceased by his dad, William George Stanley Turner in 1977. Ron is survived by his mother Ethel Turner; brothers, Stanley (Debbie) of The Pas, Darcy of Kamloops, BC, Garth (Tami) of Winnipeg; sisters, Louise Poole (Jerome) of Coventry UK, Cecilia Opekakew (Norman) of Canoe Narrow, SK, Maureen Hanson of Fort Chip, AB, Theresa Turner of Victoria, BC and Mona McIvor (Glen) of Wabowden, MB. Ron also had numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Winnipeg, MB. Cremation to follow.
