PAUL PLACKTIS August 7, 1920 - July 26, 2003 Peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on July 26, 2003. Paul passed away at the age of 82. Paul was predeceased by sister Ann and both parents. Paul leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Theresa, his son Alan from Toronto, son Charles, son Alphonse (Allison), daughter Kathleen, sister Connie from California, brother Alfie (Bea) from San Francisco, brother George from Winnipeg, three grandchildren, Ryan, Megin and K.C. Along with numerous nieces and nephews. Paul worked as a cab driver for over 50 years. The majority of his driving was with Duffys Cab Company. Paul loved his pets, especially his cat Plinky. Paul had the greatest parties, everything had to be large, no matter what Paul did he did it in a big way. He had a large heart, which passed out much love to many people. Paul will forever be loved and never forgotten. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 1531 Pembina Hwy.
