LESLEY CROMPTON Lesley Crompton, beloved wife of George, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2003 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. She was born at Edrans, MB on September 11, 1923 where she lived until moving to Brandon in November, 1929. Lesley received her education in Brandon. On June 3, 1950 she married George Crompton and they continued to live in Brandon until 1985 when they moved to Rivers. Lesley was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Brandon Branch No. 3 Ladies Auxiliary and spent many hours in the club rooms playing shuffleboard and darts. The Auxiliary rewarded Lesley with a Sergeant-at-Arms Medal for years of being Warden. Lesley leaves to mourn her passing her husband George; one son William Robert (Bill), daughter-in-law Rhonda; three grandchildren, Christina, Angela and Andrew all of Winnipeg; great-grandson Harley; and sister Joyce. She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters and one brother. At Lesleys request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined.
