IDA DEMAERTELAERE (BONNE)

IDA DEMAERTELAERE (nee BONNE) Born April 3, 1910, passed away July 27, 2003. Predeceased by her husband Paul; sisters, Madeline, Mary and Georgina; brothers, Maurice, Marcel, Leo, Bazel and Rene. Ida is survived by her brother George; sons, Marcel and Robert (Beverly) daughters, Elsie (Harold) Johnstone, Doris (Russ) Dolinski, Mary (Len) Moore and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ida and Paul lived and raised their family in southwestern Manitoba, first homesteading in the Cypress River area, later moving to Greenway and Pilot Mound. Special thanks to Dr. S. Domke for her compassionate care and to the staff of the Golden Door Nursing Home in Winnipeg, where Ida spent the last nine years of her life. Grahams Funeral Home, in Pilot Mound, in care of arrangements. Interment will be in Pilot Mound Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Unit 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2, would be greatly appreciated.
