ANNE STANA HLADY (nee HART) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anne, aged 77 years, on July 29, 2003 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Anne was predeceased by her loving husband Walter in 1997. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Richard, Robert (Sharon), Jerry (Dayle), Jim and Wayne (Sheila) grandchildren, Dana, Jennie and Sabrina; brother John (Win) Hart of Comox, BC and many nieces and nephews. Anne was raised in Garson, MB, married Walter in 1945 and settled in Cooks Creek where they had a garage business, ran a small farm and raised their five boys. Anne worked as a custodian for several years in Birds Hill Park and worked many summers at Elmhurst Golf Course. Anne was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, gardening and entertaining family and friends. Music was a big part of her life because her husband and sons being involved in the music industry. In 1997 Anne moved to Winnipeg and lived at the Edgewood Estates until her passing. There she made many new friends, especially Marjorie, Anne and Nettie. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, especially Dr. Kernahan for all their care and compassion over the years. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Annes memory to the Seven Oaks Hospital Research Foundation.
