JOHN (BRIAN) BARCLAY BELL January 23, 1926 - July 30, 2003 It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle at St. Boniface Hospital after his courageous fight with cancer. Brian will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Helen; his daughters, Colleen Bell-Taylor (Greg), Debbie Anderson (Marc), Susan Enders (Al) grandchildren, Dillon, Tiffany, Connor, Megan, Riley, Jarrett, Jared and Casie; sisters, Yvonne Larner (Ray), Jocelyn Goodman (Roger) and Shelagh Lyons (Doug) sister-in-law Phyllis Bell and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father John, mother Eileen and brother Robert. Dad attended Windsor School, graduated from Glenlawn Collegiate and lived in St. Vital all of his life. Brian was known as "Mr. Fix-it" by all who knew him. He enjoyed the cabin, fishing, gardening, woodworking and spending time with his family. The family would like to thank the staff of Home Care and St. Boniface Palliative Care for their kindness and support beyond all expectations. Cremation has taken place and a private gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory to the charity of your choice.
