Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANIEL LIVINGSTONE COHOE Daniel Livingstone Cohoe, after a full and long life, passed away at his residence on July 30, 2003. He was born (December 18, 1922) and raised on the family farm in the Clear Springs area of Manitoba. At the age of 18, Dan enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and served his country until the end of the Second World War. On June 4, 1948 Dan married Elva Joyce McDonald of Giroux, MB. He spent the following 30 years in farming both in the Giroux area and from 1963 on in the Brandon region. Dan and Elva together raised 7 children. In 1976, Dan retired from farming and they moved into Brandon. Dan enjoyed many things including travelling throughout the world, camping and fishing at Lake Audy, and the company of family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Elva the year before; his brother Earl in 1977; and sister Vera in 1976. He will be sadly missed by his children, Maureen (Harvey), Shawn, Shelagh, Bradley, Grant, Brent (Diane), and Kathleen (Tom) grandchildren, Kirsten (Bruce), Lee (Carla), Hamish, Jarrod, Jeff, Ryan, Braden, Tyler and Jaden; and great-grandchildren, Chantal and Noah. Service will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, Brandon, on Wednesday, August 6 at 1:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Dan can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st Street, Brandon, MB R7A 2W8.
