ANDREW LANE JICHUK 1921 - 2003 While visiting his daughter, on vacation with his son in Elbow, SK, Andy suffered a heart attack. On Monday, July 28, 2003 at the Union Hospital in Moose Jaw, Mr. Andrew Lane Jichuk, aged 82 left this world to be with his dearly beloved wife Dorothy. Andy is survived by his three children from his first marriage with Zada Richards, son Tim Jichuk (Michelle) of Winnipeg and their daughters, Liane; Melanie and Janelle; Diana Johnson (Les) of Peachland and children, Kerry, Lorie and Joanna; Sandy Kennedy (Barry) of Elbow and their daughters, Denise; Tracy and Honor; brothers, John of Winnipeg; and Bill of San Jacinto, CA; sisters, Kay of Winnipeg and Mary of Prince George. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren. His wit, humour and whistling will be sadly missed by all. Andy worked at Air Canada for 40 years as an aeromechanic and retired in 1978. He loved the outdoors and spent much of his life enjoying sun bathing, hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy in 1977 and will soon be resting in peace beside her. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame, August 29 @ 2:30 p.m. in Winnipeg. Immediately following the service the family would love to meet with family and friends at 18 Chippawa Bay. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
