NAN McGOWAN (nee ANNIE L. GRANT in 1909) Sadly we announce the passing of Bills beloved wife, Lesley (Gary) and Grants (Valerie) devoted mother (mother-in-law), and Scott, Lara, Paul and Hayleys cherished grandmother. Nan is also survived by dear sisters, Marguerite and Frances. Nan was the first born of Agnes and James and was predeceased by siblings, Laura, John, Gordon and Irene. Nan and family were transferred with IOL from Winnipeg to Dauphin, Brandon, Virden, and Edmonton. While her heart was always in Winnipeg, and their camp at Ingolf, she and Bill joined the family at the coast during her courageous fight against cancer. She died July 12, 2003 at Crescent Gardens Retirement Center, White Rock, BC. We will always remember her strong, generous and unselfish spirit, and total dedication to the comfort of others at all times.
