DORIS WATERS It is with great sadness that the Waters family announces the passing of Doris (nee Marshall) Waters, aged 81 years, on Monday July 21, 2003 at Roblin District Health Centre, Roblin, MB. Surviving to mourn Doris death and cherish many fond memories are her children, Linda (Ken) Wood of Sioux Narrows, ON, and Lee (Sharon) Waters of Roblin, MB; a brother Lorne Fred Dubber of Calgary, AB; sister-in-law Thelma Waters of Winnipeg, MB; five grandchildren, Joseph Waters, Heather (Rob) Eby, Ian (Lonna) Wood, Jason (Beverly) Waters, Melissa Waters; two step grandchildren, Carrie Ann Moore and Sherry (Ben) Abijero; four great-grandchildren, Jenna Waters, Sydney Wood, Haleigh Eby, Paige Wood; one step great-grandchild Samuel Abijero. Doris was predeceased by her husband Leroy "Roy" Waters in 1998; an infant daughter; an infant great-granddaughter; her parents, Fred and Beatrice Marshall; sisters, Mary Rudy and Muriel Clancy; brothers-in-law, Donald, Milton, and Levern Waters; sisters-in-law, Ellen and Nell Waters. Prayer Service and Holy Communion Service were held Wednesday July 23 at 7:30 p.m. from Christ Church Anglican, Roblin, MB, with Rev. John Dolloff officiating. The organist was Mrs. Denise Smith. Evangeline Rebekah Lodge No. 41 honoured Doris by conducting a Rebekah Memorial Service in her memory. A service to mark the death and celebrate the life of Doris Waters was held Thursday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Nairn - Chyz Funeral Home, Roblin, with Rev. Dohn Dolloff and Lay Reader, Elaine Dixon officiating and Mrs. Betty Wenner as organist. Honourary Casket Bearers were the Sisters of Evangeline Rebekah Lodge No. 41 and The Honour Guard was formed by The Royal Canadian Legion, Roblin Branch No. 24. Interment of Cremains followed in the Waters family plot at Roblin District Cemetery. Memorial Gifts in memory of Doris Waters may be made to either Christ Church Anglican, Roblin or The Manitoba Lung Association.
